Black Belt Defense
At Black Belt Defense, students of all ages have the opportunity to learn in a positive and uplifting learning environment. The Tang Soo Do style of martial arts is the primary style of karate taught. Weapons training is also offered to students.
Mr. Berges, an accomplished martial artist in the Korean style karate known as Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do, is a 3rd degree black belt. In addition to his self-defense expertise, Mr. Berges is proficient in the use of martial arts weapons including the bo staff, kamas, and nunchakus.
As an active instructor since 2004, Mr. Berges has taught hundreds of students values and skills including discipline, respect for others, confidence in themselves, courage and integrity, and the use of numerous self-defense techniques.

Karate Classes - Lake Orion / Auburn Hills Location
WHERE: Classes held at our Black Belt Defense training facility just off I-75 at the Josyln Road Exit. Classes are held in our 8500 sq ft training facility located inside the Great Lakes Golf & Sports Complex.

DESCRIPTION: Lil' Dragons Tang Soo Do - 6:30 to 7:15, ages 4 to 6.
Traditional Tang Soo Do Karate - 7:30 to 8:30, ages 6 and up.
Karate Classes - Clarkston / Waterford Location
WHERE: Classes held in the gymnasium at the Clarkston Community Education Center, 6558 Waldon Road, Clarkston, MI 48346.

DESCRIPTION: Lil' Dragons Tang Soo Do - 7:00 to 7:45, ages 4 to 6.
Traditional Tang Soo Do Karate - 7:45 to 8:45, ages 6 and up.
