Reviews of Black Dragons Dojo

Master GJ Torres is abusive toward his possibly dozens of kids in front of the students. He interrupts valuable class time to verbally and physically abuse his children when they are not acting according to his standards. He is quick to belittle the students for not learning what they weren’t taught and he has an extremely rude demeanor about him. His dojos are closing down and it’s no wonder why. He has had multiple wives and partners in which he has multiple children with. He often visits another country (I can’t remember which - possibly the Philippines) and I can’t help but wonder if there is something deeper going on due to his lifestyle. I would like to open an investigation into the possibility of Master Torres engaging in child trafficking. I don’t think it is a coincidence that next door to his Eatontown dojo is a spa which is known by locals for prostitution.

Master GJ Torres, his sons Shihan Gj Torres Jr, Shihan Ray Torres along with their senior student Shihan Melissa are the best in what they do. Their ability to create champions and change lives is second to None. If a parent is really looking for the best for their child or themselves, they need to train under the Torres Hei-Long system at one of their Black Dragons Dojos. The tuition is great and the instructions is outstanding.

Master GJ Torres even though he looks like a young man and is well in his 50"s is truly the best in the business, Master GJ Torres teaches Karate the way it should be taught and for sure makes the classes exciting and knowledgeable. when i first started karate at the tiger shullman's karate centers in thought that i found the place that will bring me to the highest point of fitness and learning ultimate karate, i stay there for over 3 years and thought i was really good, one day a friend asked me to come visit the Black Dragons Dojo Operated by Master GJ Torres and Guess What? i wasted all those years with the tiger when the dragon was the one that made it work, i threw away the black belt i paid for from tiger shullmans because i needed to start from the beginning again due to the real classes of hard core working out and really learning.... thank you Master GJ Torres and if it wasent because i had to be deployed i would have followed you till the end

Master GJ Torres and his family, though not a "Asian philisophical"type of people, are stand up, qualified Martial Artist. They care about developing champions,as well as stand up members of the community. You gotta see their ability. From ages 3-99, this is the school for you!!!
