The owner/ instructor is offering a service. Misguided slurs and backyard opinions is why America is great. The Art of any fighting style is better than none. And to have someone wanting to teach and help the community be stronger and smart enough to feed themselves my hat is off to them, Martial Arts teach respect and purpose. Guide physical training and competition in a

healthy environment. Anything else along these lines could be is a gang with an unhealthy future or a branch in Service protecting this nation.

I feel Martial Arts is a great way to channel energy, learn wisdom and spend time getting into shape.

Very knowledgeable MMA instruction from great Sensei's. Belt progression is based on skill level of requirements. Provides traditional martial art instruction as well as real life instruction.

Techniques are real applications, not some fairy tales out of a Karate book. I would recommend this school if anyone is looking for, both conditioning and learning self-defense.

Instructors only pay attention to the highest paying students. Lock you into long term contract witch you still have to pay if your child quits. No one ever fails a test and they give tournament trophies for belt test but they do not permit students to to tournaments.

As a 66year old woman, I was looking for some exercise for both fitness and fun. Bitanga's has met those goals and more. The atmosphere is very positive and encouraging for all students. In addition to knowledgeable instructors, students are also very supportive of each other. Mixed martial arts at Bitanga's is an experience for improving body, mind, and spirit. Best decision I ever made!

wow is that how mr bitanga teaches his students to talk ? Not surprised any time anyone disagrees with them they go straight to foul name calling. these guys talk down to everyone so bad and act like their the greatest out there, but NON of them have ever spared or competed outside their mcdojo. NO ONE is jealous of you dont you get that, and if you think they are then you guys are the most conceded group of martial artists out there. I have actualy fought in the cage and know whats its like to be in a real fight, till you can learn what thats like stop acting like little brat .

This Ralph guy has posted on here before just scroll down . He's making things up about a lot. This school is a mcdojo that doesn't let any of there students compete or challenge their skills with anyone outside their dojo. NO ONE is jealous of this place, but EVERY ONE does feel bad that people are getting taken for a ride, and anyone who has tryed leaving this school bitagna turns them over to collection agencies.

People leaving negative comments are nuts- Probably JEALOUS of the success of that school.. They do a better job than any school that has ever been in this area. If they were so bad how come they teach so many people and have students with them for years and years. Go see for your self if you really want to learn the Martial arts and they do teach several arts.

Just a very fine place to go. As A FORMER LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.

This is the worst place ever. Its just awful how they screwed me and others out of there money. I stopped going because the instruction wasn't that great and they just keeper charging my bank month after month, and where I put a block on them with my bank they have now turned me over to a collection agencie. DO NOT GO HERE !

Students their where nice but it was way to much money and an iron clad contract which I didn't like to well. I stopped going when I read that you should watch out for dojos that make you sign a contract. Plus after I stopped going Mr. Bitanga tryed to draw fee's from my bank account.

Over priced and and not forth it

The people who teach here are clueless . They don't teach jiu jitsu, or mma like they say , and they charge outrageous prices. I have also heard them talk badly about others. Don Bitanga is simply in it for the money !

D. BITANGA HAS DONE A VERY FINE JOB IN BRINGING MARTIAL ARTS TO MEIGS COUNTY, OH. He taught in Wash. D.C.some yrs ago. He also taught at the Commando Combat school for army personal who were sent to fight in South Viet Nam. Supposedly was responsible for rescuing some doctors and nurses and received a medal for bravery. He was honored a few yrs ago by some vetrans group. He is well liked by the community and is a professional in this field.

The Chief Instructor named Karate Master Bitanga is a member of the Hall of Fame, because my uncle who was at the awards ceremony and got a photo with him in a tuxedo. All I know is that they are very well organized and Bitanga used to teach soldiers going to Viet Nam accross the water in Asia. I watched a test and a scarry demo that they were in. He also teached a lot of different Police squads to and the Sheriff's Office Police. A student said they charge differently for whatever program you are on and they are good in self defense and Kicking and Boxing. They teach what is called a mix of several Karate like arts. Bitanga also is credited with the authorship of several books. So he has done so much for Middleport and America as well. Everyone likes him a lot.

If you have ever seen one of the demos by this school you would be really impressed. The head instructor breaks up to 5 cinder blocks and can withstand boards broken over his body and head. He also does an amazing samurai sword cutting demo. They teach more than one martial art and the demonstration showed ju jitsu throwing and takedowns against armed and unarmed attacks.. They do so many terrific things its like watching a well organized tv special.

I have two kids in the school and am very much satisfied with the cost and what they are learning. They have even improved their grades in school since going to the Martial Arts Center in Middleport.

this place is a rip off. I went there based off of this web site , the info this dojo listed says they teach MMA thats why i went there. When i got there i found out they dont teach MMA and the price is crazy . bitanga martial arts are nothing but lairs.

Worst dojo I have ever seen . People that go there think and are tood its the best in the world , but there going to get someone hurt. The instructors are clueless.

This is a great school! The experience level of the head instructor and origination of the dojo is unmatched to anybody or place with in 150 miles. I going to stay at this school for every!

My aunt attended this school, ...very over-priced, and when she tried to get out of the contract; forget it! Why would it be so hard to leave the school if you want to? I would not recommend this school because of the lack of honesty concerning money issues!

This place is bad. They make people think their getting good instruction, but their going to get someone hurt.

THIS IS REALLY AN IMPRESSIVE DOJO- The director of the school has a background of experience and teaching just not found in this area. The ability of the Black Belt Instructors really shows they have been trained to teach more than one Martial Art. I watched one of their demonstrations on the 4th of July and it was simply outstanding. My son is now enrolled at this school for more than a year and just loves it.

On the sign they say they teach jiu jitsu but they don't , and they don't have mma. there telling teens that to get money. I went in and all they showed was some poorly shown karate and two throws and the throws was totally wrong.

The instruction which I received at the Martial Arts Center in Middleport, Ohio from the instructor Sensei Don Bitanga enabled me to escape from an attacker. The training actually saved my life!
