BKS Mixed Martial Arts
The chief instructor is Frank Ulery. Frank is retired from the US Army and the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office and has a diverse martial arts background with plenty of practical applications to share with students. Martial Art Styles
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at BKS Mixed Martial Arts:
- Jiu-Jitsu (Jujutsu/Jujitsu)
- Judo
- Karate
- Kung Fu
- Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
- Tai chi
Programs & Class Schedule
Presently, regular sessions are held Monday and Thursday evening from 7 PM until 8:30 PM.
Private instruction is available for individuals and smaller groups, either at the school or at your location. Call to schedule.
The third Saturday of each month is a fight clinic for all students, and guests, of the four clubs in the network. The clinic is from 1 PM until 3 PM.
The styles taught are traditional, but presented in a non-traditional/mixed format. The pace of instruction is catered to the individual. Classes are small and allow for a lot of one on one training and coaching.
