Both my children train here. One with Professor Antwan's adult class and one with Sensei Kory's kids class. Cannot say enough good things about how friendly and welcoming they both have been to my kids. They are both very knowledgeable and both excellent instructors. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in learning "THE" martial art. The emphasis here has always been on family. They have warmly welcomed both my kids and now they are both hooked. Thanks for everything and keep up the great work. :)

High quality instructors, sense of family, and a great love and appreciation for the art of brazilian jiu jitsu. I have trained at many locations and with many fighters throughout the country and this is place is top notch! By far best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training in the Detroit area!

I have trained with Sensei Fresh in many areas of self defense. He not only knows what he is doing he knows how to get others to understand. He has also trained my 17 yr son and 14 yr daughter and I just can't wait for my 3 yr to be old enough to train. This is where you need to be!

I ve trained BJJ. For 3 to 4years and the level of instruction as well as the instructors are second to none their knowledge of dealing problem we are having as well as enhancing our understanding of the rules and principles of BJJ

Is priceless. The atmosphere there is of a brotherhood where the main goal is see everyone make strides in their training. The best ways to explain it Each one Teach one no student left behind . Another objective there is see everyone achieve their personal goal in BJJ not to mention their skill level is very high considering the actual time they trained in BJJ. I would highly recommend the BJJC of MICHIGAN EASTSIDE to anyone looking defense as well fellowship.

I have trained in the martial arts/fighting arts for more than 30 years I found that the instructors at this school are very professional and love what they do. They live BJJ.

The environment is very welcoming, and everyone involved takes the training seriously. That being said, they have a lighthearted approach to the training as well, making it very easy for beginners to feel comfortable.

There are no egos on the mats here. Everyone wants everyone to be successful.

They also offer private lessons at a very affordable rate, which I found very helpful.

I would, and do, recommend this school to anyone interested in learning BJJ from competent instructors.

My son and daughter have been training with Sensei Fresh for over 3 yrs and words can't decribe the skills and confident they have now.My son was very timid and now he has a lot higher sense of confidence.. Sensei Freshs teaching skills are the best ever..if you dont understand just ask...you will not leave class without ever understand lesson of the day!!!

The level of instruction from Sensei Fresh is excellent he make sure that what ever technique that is being drilled you have a clear understanding on the entry and the positions you should be in to finish the move. I really love the street aspect of BJJ that's taught because I spend most of my time in the streets out in about with wife it's nice to know that I can handle my self in any scenario which is brought up in class.
