Best MMA Gym in the state if your serious about becoming a fighter this is the place to be.

amazing place to train if you want to be a competitive fighter, but also great if it's just a hobby. Master adam and Rory really know what they're talking about, and I continue to learn more everyday.

The headline says it all. I am who I am because of Athens Fitness and MMA.
The HardCore Gym's kid's Mixed Martial Arts training includes wrestling, grappling, kickboxing, on the ground, in the clinch and stand-up. The coaches are really good guys who make it fun for the kids while giving serious, practical and technical instruction. I especially love the fact that the kids can, if they want to, spar and "go live" to get a level of real experience from their training. Every kid is taught with their individual abilities, strengths, weaknesses, skills, limitations, etc. in mind and they listen to the kids. They are safe, considerate, professional and, at the same time, encourage the kids to push themselves.
My son (11) has been going to The HardCore Gym for close to two years, now, and absolutely loves it ever since his first day with no signs of letting up. He came in as a wrestler, paid for his first month because he liked it so much and took to the grappling and kickboxing with a passion. Because of his high level of motivation and interest in competition the coaches have worked hard to keep him challenged while he works towards his goals. My daughter (8) has been attending for around a year and was hesitant at first but the coaches made it so accessible and fun for her that now she loves it and especially enjoys grappling. She is very fond of the coaches and really looks forward to seeing them.
Also, the very first time we visited The HardCore Gym I was struck by how amazingly clean it was. I believe that they sterilize the mats at least twice a day and one of those times is right before the kid's class. This may seem minor but to any parent of a wrestler you'll know how important it is!
