Athens Karate Club (ISKF)

The Athens Karate Club stems from the Ohio University Shotokan Karate Club, founded by Sensei Greer Golden, and one of the oldest Karate clubs of the nation. Our club is part of the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF). People of all ages and ranks train here the traditional martial art of Shotokan Karate based on the ISKF guidelines.

Our members have the opportunity to compete within the ISKF Mid-America region, nationally, and sometimes internationally, as well as to participate in regional clinics, camps and master camps.

We strongly welcome beginners of all ages!
