Sensei Iverson is the best instructor you will ever find. In life, he cares about everyone he meets and brings that attitude to all of his students. In addition to making every student feel welcome, he is highly skilled in his art and has a gift for passing along his knowledge to others. There is no better place to learn important martial arts skills than The Art of Life Sanctuary.

Sensei Iverson is a great instructor and mentor. Being new to martial arts, he and the other students made me feel welcome and were helpful, despite my many questions. Having several health issues, he has also helped me modify techniques, alternate practice methods, and develop better movement to prevent or reduce pain. I came for self defense, but ended up with a different, great path.

I don't think I have ever experienced a martial arts class quite like this. Sensei Iverson is knowledgeable, to the point, and conveys techniques through easy to understand demonstrations. Teaches To-Shin Do Ninjutsu and incorporates gun and weapon defense as well as women's self defense workshops. YouTube videos are a plus.
