I have trained in this excellent system for 5 years and I can not speak high enough for Shihan Quatrochi and his staff. No ego no competition just a great system for anyone who wants to learn how to defend themselves. Being in the Corrections field for almost 20 years I can say Men and women in police, corrections and security careers will benefit tremendously with the training in this dojo. Kids are welcome and the classes are taught in a fun and safe manor. Classes specifically for females may be coming soon or may have started. Stop by and ask about free trial classes (thats how I got back into martial arts). I have trained in the Bushido Ryu system for 10 years under Shinan Gene James (RIP) in Peekskill and that was an excellent system - with that said this system fits me better. Just as my old school AQMAI is not a black belt factory the training is professional and everything on the mat is earned not given.

I've never felt a sense of community at a dojo like I do at AQMAI. The training I have received has greatly increased my confidence in self-defense. Having a trust with my instructors and fellow classmates is a very defining factor that has caused me to excel in my training. The staff and students alike are genuinely about the art for the sake of the art.

AQMAI is dedicated to helping its students build self-confidence, self-discipline and self-respect: all in an atmosphere of family and support. Students young (and not so young) are taught and nurtured to achieve their personal best every step of the way. Those "extra=curricular activities" can't be beat. The staff is the best! AQMAI is head and shoulders above the rest. Their instructors take great care of the students, provide them with the knowledge to properly defend themselves, and build confidence in themselves.

Been training here for a view years now and I can't get enough of it

Aqmai is my second family. Shihan and the instructors are not just instructors, they are role models and leaders. They are always there for us. I am proud to be part of this family. OSU!
