Anchorage Dojo teaches Judo to all ages to build self-discipline, to teach respect, as a competitive sport. While consistently creating champions, we emphasize the importance of winning and loosing with grace.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Anchorage Judo Center (DBA Anchorage Dojo):
Monday and Wednesday
Children 6:00 - 7:00
Junior/Senior 7:00 - 8:30
Classes are divided by age.
The Children's class is for students of ages 5 to 9 (with ages 9-11 allowed to participate in this class at the discretion of the sensei, on a case by case basis). It is held on Mondays and Weddays from 6 PM to 7 PM. Beginners are welcome. This class is generally held from the first of September through May or June, with a break during the summer months.
The combined junior and senior class for all students ages 10 and older, regardless of skill level is held on Mondays and Weddays from 7 PM to 8:30 PM, with addition workouts available until 9 PM. Beginners are welcome. This class is generally held year round, and depending upon instructor availability may have a short break during any of the summer months.
