The American Shaolin Temple was founded February 12th, 1979 by Vietnam veterans, Grandmaster Griffie and Grandmaster Bobby Parker. It is the oldest martial arts school in Inglewood. The head instructor is Grandmaster Dennis W. Horton. Sensei Darus Richmond teaches Sanuces Ryu Jujitsu and Shotokan. Sifu Jenoyne A. Horton teaches Tae Lua Kune Do.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at American Shaolin Temple:
Ages 5 and up are taught Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 pm until 7:40 pm. Classes are offered free to the public.
