Apparently Mr. Hoffer likes to correct people on their grammar!!!! He apparently either can’t read or can’t comprehend what Randy was saying!!!! He said he would do it pro bono which is his right as an Attorney!!!! Not all Attorneys are all about the money!!!!!!!!! I will say this I was not impressed with Joe Hoffer!!!! I have seen him in Court!!!! And if he teaches like he represents clients then you people are in trouble because he is definitely not that good!!!!! So before becoming an English teacher and correcting people practice what you preach!!!!

Before I started at Killer Bees, all of the other reindeer use to call me names. “Use to” bitch not anymore.

Glad I went with this gym. I learn something every class and get to do it with a solid group of people.

I’m really not sure what those 1 star reviews were talking about, because all i’ve seen is great people putting quality work into their bodies in an amazing atmosphere! This is the best place to not only get in shape, but to learn the best martial arts in the area. We treat each other as if we were family. If you are scared, you will gain confidence. If you are cocky, you will be humbled. It really depends on how you present yourself when you walk through those doors.

People writing negative reviews are either trolls who have never stepped foot inside of our gym, or rival gyms trying to smear a good name so they can increase their own numbers/revenue. As someone who has literally tried every dojo/gym within 100 mile radius of Cleveland, I promise that you won’t get the same high quality training anywhere other than AKB! See for yourself and try it today.

I've never been an athletic individual and I've certainly never spent time studying martial arts but I'm glad I came to AKB first. It took a tremendous amount of personal courage to step through those doors but I've been welcomed as family from the start. Here you'll be pushed to your limits while having fun at the same time. You're going to better yourself mentally and physically while also learning something practical.

I have been training here for two years, and I have to say that it has improved all aspects of my life. I physically feel better due to the fact I always felt stiff in the past. I truly love this place, and I consider the instructors and fellow students a second family. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu works in any environment. As for some others whom have felt free to comment a nonsense review and claim to be a lawyer, please check your grammar, I would really hate to see the judge dismiss your claims in courts based on it's merit or incompetence.

I've lost a ton of weight training with Joe and David. They are wonderful instructors and really take the time and care to help you on and off the mats achieve your goals. Their is no better place in Cleveland to train at.

American Killer Bee's in Cleveland Tn. is hands down top quality. The owner David Robins is among the top of the food chain. Regardless whether you want to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, or both. Joe Hoffer is also an instructor with a wealth of knowledge and extremely efficient at passing that knowledge to those who join the Killer Bee Family. There are other dedicated instructors as well. American Killer Bee's in Cleveland is a Family. We support one another. We compete in the cage and in local competitions such as Bjj and Kickboxing events. We cheer for all of our family. If you want to be apart of an AMAZING Martial Arts Family and train in a friendly/professional atmosphere, come try some free classes. Randy, as a real attorney, with over thirty years of experience as a martial artist, your grammar and spelling clearly show you never graduated from law school.

Besides, both personal injury and workman comp claims are normal taken on a contingency basis, so your reference to pro bono claims is ridiculous.

For the record, I’m an instructor at the American Killer Bees, but I’m not going to stand by when local martial arts instructors claim they are attorneys and “bad mouth” a legitimate academy of Jiujitsu and Muay Thai kickboxing.

Great school where everyone is welcome. Dave and Joe teach are great teachers. It doesn’t matter if you want sport, MMA or self-defense you can find classes for you.

Killer bees is the best martial arts gym in Cleveland. My daughter trains here and David is very good with her. As well as the other instructors. Wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

David, Joe, Joseph, and Billy, and the rest of the crew are great folks to learn from. The gym harbors people from all walks of life. Don't believe the negative reviews. They're from trolls.

David and joe are amazing instructors. They take the time to answer any questions you might have. You are treated like family from day one and it never stops. I stopped going for awhile and David kept in contact with me to make sure I was doing good. When my son had his kidney transplant, david was on the phone checking on us. You can’t get much better than that. American killer bees is a family. I highly recommend them to any and all. These negative reviews must be from someone that has a grudge for some reason. Go in and talk with David. You can see for yourself.

Went in to talk about classes and all I got was a bunch of beefed up meat heads telling me how their style was the ultimate martial arts!!!!!!! How they can’t be beat!!! When asked how they thought they would do in the streets on concrete their time changed!!! So needless to say if they are the ultimate martial arts then why do they not want to demonstrate on concrete!!!! Not so ultimate!!!!! Will go and take my family somewhere else that teaches real street self-defense!!!!! What a joke!!!!!!!

I have been practicing martial arts for over thirty years and well let me start by saying that although bjj is very popular thanks to the ufc it is not something that is good for the street. I am an attorney and I love clients that come in and have been attached by someone in the bjj sport!!! Showing Doctors reports where they have head, back, and neck injuries and are out of work!!!!
