The staff is very professional and well trained, but also friendly and supportive. I've been training at All American Karate for 10 years and really love it. It's a big part of my life. I can stay fit, train my mind and body and meet really nice people. I would recommend All American Karate to anyone who has an interest in martial arts whether they are a youth or an adult; male or female. It's a great place to train.

My boys have been students at All American for about 3 years, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to study Martial Atrs. They are very accommodating to skill levels, physical ability and schedules. Don is a wonderful teacher and works great with my children. He is very patient and encouraging, which keeps my boys interested and excited about learning more. I look forward to many years of working with Don and his staff.

My family loves studying kenpo at All American Karate! It is a great place for adults as well as children and offers a variety of activities for all ranges of experience. The instructors are excellent with children and bring their different skills to the studio to pass on to their students. I highly recommend All American Karate Studio!

Training relevant to the real world

I have been training for 1 1/2 years and have found the instruction to be excellent. All that I have been taught is practical to a real world situation. My one on one MMA/Karate/Boxing training with Marv Williams has increased my fighting skill immensely. Everyone is very patient, helpful and friendly, no matter what one's age, sex or skill level is. There is quite a bit of camaraderie between students and instructors. I am most impressed that they will tailor a program for the student, if that is what the student desires. The hours are very compatible with my busy schedule.

The owner, Don De Vries takes a personal interest in all of the students. I highly recommend this facility to anyone of any skill level. They offer group lessons as well as private lessons and are in a convenient location. They also have quite a bit of workout equipment if a student wants to gain strength.

Terrible Instruction

Dec 25 2010 by M Franco (Parent of a Student with 1 - 3 Years Experience at this school)

Quality of Instruction:
Poor

No!

Students teaching students, shouldn't be nothing more to say. The few instructors that they do have only pay attention to instructing a few they feel like. The head instructors usually only teaches one on one and doesn't much have physical contact with the student, so the student does much of their techniques in the air much like shadow boxing. When it comes to sparring, they focus on point sparring and have the kids rely to much on "Kenpo Shield" to earn the points. 9 out of 10 kids that put it to use in real life will loose a fight.
