I have been training at this gym off and on for over 8 months and the atmosphere has been nothing but respectful and rewarding. The heavy use of open rolling, competition support, and beginner friendliness has made me proud to call this gym my home. The team has become my family, and the gym turns into a second home.
The coaches have a wonderful open door policy, and I will also vouch for having zero personal billing issues. Competition is encouraged but not forced, and this adds to the overall pace of the gym. We even get the chance to train with Mestre Joe Moreira, as he is also affiliated with our gym and stops by from time to time. Personal training and evaluations from someone of this stature are a rare find in Pensacola. Everyone at the gym is always happy to roll and improve.
I strongly recommend that anyone stop by and try a class, if only to get a chance to meet the team and coaches in person. The level of personal respect and respect for the sport makes me proud to call the gym my home. It has truly become a life changing experience, and the men, women, and children I train with are inspiring and outstanding individuals.
