A good place to learn real world self-defense, not the "movie martial arts" I've seen in so many other places.

My children train at Tracy's. You can get a full range of training here from grappling to MMA to boxing. But whhat I really like is the fact that you can get real self defense training. The students can learn self defense for situations on the street no matter what skill level you are or what size you are.

I am currently in my 4th year at Tracy's Kenpo Studio and just started working on my black belt. This is not your typical place where you can obtain a black belt in little over a year. The instructors are excellent in what they do and Kenpo offers a very useful and practical form of self defense.

They can gear your lessons for whatever your interested into such as Kenpo self defense, grappling, kick boxing, or MMA style fighting. I must say I feel very accomplished training here and happy with my results. Make sure you come not only for your private lesson but also take advantage of the group classes.

I've been learning martial arts and self-defense at Al Tracy's for almost a year and a half. This place is appropriately priced with awesome instruction. The different group classes throughout the week offer a very well-rounded workout with a variety of learning opportunities. On top of the group classes, the private lessons provide an even more self-focused means of improvement. It definitely gives true meaning to the phrase "mixed martial arts". I would recommend Al Tracy's Kenpo-Karate to anyone who seeks to defend, fight and condition.

There are a lot of places out there that do martial arts, but as odd as it sounds, so many focus so much on sport or discipline or fitness, that the actual self defense suffers. Not at Tracy's Kenpo Karate.

Lessons cover self defense, with many techniques for defending not only punches and kicks, but also grabs and holds. Group classes have a whole range, from kickboxing to grappling to self defense to fitness, there is always something to learn to learn or practice.

What I like about it for kids is that the kids actually learn self defense. The discipline and self confidence are good things, but real self defense skills are picked up here.
