I have been training with Sensei Jerry for 4 years along with my two sons, now 10 and 12. Jerry is eager and enthusiastic as well as experienced in teaching martial arts. If I had a complaint, it would be that he knows so much that I have a hard time absorbing everything. The kids class is fun and very effective. I have enjoyed watching my boys develop strength, coordination and confidence. I chose this dojo because we don't study sport martial arts. Don't get me wrong, I love MMA. I wanted my boys to learn respect for people and the arts and to learn to defend and not fight. My experience with MMA schools is that there is no respect, just fight. If you are looking for street smart self defense and not afraid of hard work and a very physical and well rounded program, Check it out.
