Semi-retired Sifu. Training is at home studio. I no longer teach for belt rank, but I do teach classes/lessons in various parts of AKJ-American Kenpo. I give lessons in these disciplines: (1) General self-defense class (2) Defense on the ground—this is not jujitsu, but moves that will get you off the ground in seconds (3) Knife defense (4) Using one stick for defense (4) Using double sticks for defense (5) Joint lock lessons, so to control a person that grabs you. (6) Basic principles of using a knife or karambit for self-defense. (7) Use of the cane for self-defense.
Each subject is anywhere from two to more lessons. It also depends on how much you want to learn in that certain area, but eventually the lessons will end for that subject. You will get a completion certificate for each subject. I will encourage you to write a descriptive manual on what you learn so it will become your practice manual. Lessons are only $20.00 and lasts from one to two hours.
I am a sixth degree black belt in AKJ-American Kenpo, a variation of American Kenpo, I also have training in Aikido. Thirty-six years experience.
I teach males and females ages seventeen and up.
