My son, James, has attended Action Karate in Cinnaminson for a few months now. He absolutely LOVES it. The instructors are always positive and motivating, even though James is lazy they still manage to get him to exercise, something I could never get him to do alone. The main teach Mr. McQuade never ceases to be friendly and is always looking to improve James' focus and listening, as I requested when we first met. I definitely recommend this to parents who want their kids to gain from the array of mental benefits- most specifically confidence, from karate, and through my research and talking to other parents, theres no better place to do this in the area than Action.
This schools is new to the Cinnaminson area. They came to my daughter's day care & she came back with a sticker on her back. I asked her what she did today and she told me she did all these fun karate moves. I was looking for some sort of sport to get her involved in so I figured id give martial arts a shot. Well, I'm glad I did, she can't wait to get into class and show dad and I her pushups or situps. The instructors make sure to fix her when shes doing something wrong, but always do it in a nice positive way. She really likes going and I think most of the reason is the high energy and sweetness of the two young instructors (I think one of them is Mcqaide and the other is Mr. Brener), who obviously care very much about what they do. Im glad they came to their school because she is really having fun in this activity, and I rather her learn self defense than cheerleading which is great but not so useful.
