Reviews of ATA Leadership Martial Arts

My son is 8 and is on the spectrum of autism. He has impulse deficits and sensory issues regarding hearing. He also must have a routine. Since putting him at the ATA Leadership Martial Arts Academy, he has been able to function better with his impulse sense to touch everything. Master Beauchamp holds a degree in psychology and really knows how to help kids on the spectrum. (At least I can positively state she has been superb at helping my son).

Since joining, my son can now resist much longer and is successful at listening. This is a huge deal in our family. I have been so impressed that I joined the adult class and my other child has began training. What started out mainly helping my son cope and socialize has turned into a family affair. All that is left is my spouse (don't know bout that yet). We are very happy here and would encourage anyone with any kind of learning deficits to come here and train with Master Beauchamp. I can tell you that you will be happy you came to this great academy. The other instructors and young leaders are great too.

My daughter, who trains with Master B. is patient with her. She has some learning disabilities and the instructors who work with Master B. are so kind to myself and my daughter.

The classes are not overloaded, which is why we transferred and she is really learning now. Where she was at before seemed to be very basic and the instructor was less then friendly to her.(in my opinion)

I am so glad we found a Taekwondo School that treats us like we belong there. My daughter participates in all activities and is never left out, or sat out for not following directions. This is one of the reasons I put her in martial arts to begin with.

Thank you, Master Beauchamp for helping my daughter in so many ways. She is more confident since she has moved to your school, and I couldn't be happier.
