Moo Ji Hwe

The Moo Ji Hwe was established in 1992 by senior instructor Eric Madis.

Mr. Madis has trained in martial arts since 1963 and began his training in karate under Shihan Frank Goody in 1964. He began training in Korean karate (tangsoodo) in 1983 under Grandmaster Jung Kil Kim in Denver, CO and continued under Grandmaster Jae Jun Kim of the World Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation, receiving dan #15710. He is currently 5th degree black belt in tangsoodo. Over the decades he has also trained in aikido, judo, hapkido and military police self-defense.

Moo Ji Hwe teaches traditional Korean karate with an emphasis on self-defense, fitness and personal refinement.
