Wu Chi School Of Self Defense is a kung fu school with its main influence being Shaolin Kung Fu.Some of the things you will learn in the class is Boxing, footwork, kickboxing, animal styles, forms, and real life self defense (Locks,holds,throws,and aikido). The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Wu Chi School Of Self Defense:
Wu Chi School of Self Defense is a martial arts school that teaching the real life concepts of defense. When you come into our school you will learn and be more aware about how to defend your self if you where attract or mugged on the street. We are not a tournament school. We teach traditional Kung Fu forms. As well as teach some Chin Na concepts (Tai Chi). We also offer a Monday class that is just kickboxing. This class you will take for 6 months get a certificate to certify in kickboxing. Then we have a Saturday aikido class from 3 pm to 4 pm. Aikido deals with more joint and body manipulation. Again this is a 6 month class. Then the next six months are more advanced.
Monday classes are at 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Adult classes are open gym 5:30 pm. Classes 6 pm-8 pm Tuesday & Thursdays. We also have a Kids Class on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The kids class teaches the same concepts as adult class. Kids train in a fun, and safe environment. The Kids class teacher make the studies fun for the kids. As well as teach kids self discipline, respect, and to be aware, and how to handle people that may try to be harmful. Kids start at the age of 6 yrs or older. At the age of 15 years old kids will transfer into adult class.
Classes for adults and kids are $50/mo. For kickboxing and/or aikido classes only you will be paying $40 dollars a month. We do not make you sign a contract. Before joining you will be asked to sign some sheets. One is a basic waver that most all martial arts school will have you sign. This is not a contract as you have free will to leave at anytime you want. The other is a sheet with basic information like phone numbers for emergencies. Any sort of medical issues the instructor will need to know about. You get one week FREE. In that week you can watch or participate in the classes. This is a fun relaxed school. We work with you on all aspects of class. Everyone has their own way of learning, and we support that and you. We want to work with you on these things. So please come check us out.
