I have been to many dojo's and this is by far the best that I have seen. The instructor is very patient and knowledgeable in what he is teaching. The students are diciplined and very advanced compared to other schools.

I have been looking for a martial arts class to join in the greater Cleveland area for a while. I stumbled upon dojo locator and researched a lot of places to learn Taekwondo. In my research, I found out that there are multiple types of taekwondo and Changmookwon is more along the lines of what I was looking for. It is more designed to protect yourself against situations you will encounter on the streets. I visited the school and was very impressed with what I saw. It was very organized and clean plus it had a very fun and friendly atmosphere. As a guest, I was welcomed with open arms by everyone. I have to say, all the members were helping each other and having fun doing it. It seemed like one big family of different races and sizes of people.

I have trained in many martial arts schools throughout greater Cleveland and this has been my best experience. Since joining, I have learned so much more than any where else I have been and I also got my children involved. They love it just as much as I do. West Side Karate is a very professional, clean, safe, and fun way to meet new friends while learning street style self defense.
