Great fun, great aikido

The UNCW aikido club is a wonderful group to train with. Not only do they have fun while training they still respect that this is a martial art. The head instructor, Richard Price (5th degree Black Belt) is a veteran police officer and brings his field experience with him. Also, one of the other instructors, John Lothes (2nd degree Black Belt) has been working in bars for almost 10 yrs and brings his work experience with him as well. Not only do they teach great self defense techniques, they still remain true to aikido traditions and trainings.
I felt welcome to be there from the first day I walked in the door.
