Society Of Traditional Karate Do

We teach traditional Okinawan Kara-te Do. We are dedicated to Self Defense. We do not participate in tournaments. Tournaments have proven to be anti-productive in the real world. True Okinawan Kara-te Do has never been about, or endorsed, tournaments. We believe in basics and Kata with Bunkai Kumite. We are members of the National Martial Arts Association.

Instructors: William Sligar, Hanshi-Grand Master, JuDan, 62years of study. Certified in 4 Kara-Te Do styles. Josh Sligar, Master Sensei-Shihan, RokuDan, 27 years of study. Also certified in Jiu-Jitsu

Programs & Class Schedule

Currently classes are held by appointment. We are available Monday Through Friday from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm Saturday classes are also available by appointment at no additional costs. We also teach private classes. Our minimum age is 12 years of age. Beginner classes are separate from the more advanced students. We do not require a contract. Students pay monthly.
