My son has been training with one of the better known instructors in the state. My experience with his prior school could not have been better. Unfortunately, the distance from my residence had become a challenge. After close to four years of training we it had been three months without attending class. Then we happened on the P Pines Start location and decided to take a peak. Professor Correa was amazing. He showed me the facility and was immediately willing to let my son try the class. Where he sold me is when he expressed his concerns about my sons loyalty to the other school and asked that I communicate with his prior instructor. My son has been attending Start Bjj for about 3 weeks now and all throw the moves being taught at this time are very basic, Professor Correa's technique and attention to detail will certainly benefit my son. I recommend that anyone interested in Bjj check this location out.

I've been looking to start training in BJJ for a long time, but for one thing or another it never happened, then this school opened across the street, so I figured Karma... I came and tried a class, prof. Rafael is an amazing instructor and super friendly, by the end of the class I was already able to do some basic self defense techniques and do a proper mount escape. It felt great, everyone was very friendly and even though I've never trained before some of the more experienced students took the time to help me. Its been 3 weeks now and I'm getting better every day.
