Shuto Karate Club

Founded in 1960, The Shuto Karate Club is the Philadelphia area's First Karate School. The Phoenixville Dojo opened in 1972. As a member of the American Self Defense Karate Association, our traditional martial arts training is geared towards practical self defense. Our founder, Louis Rabouin, began his karate training in 1952 and is in direct lineage of Funakoshi Gichin. Our chief instructor, Larry L. Flournoy, began his martial arts training in 1962. We offer classes for children and adults.
