The H2HCTC is an incredible place to train. What really struck me was the mentality of the students and the dedication they show in training.

Equipment could be better. The center is funded by Professor Foley and isn't part of an international karate franchise so not everything looks pretty. It is also relatively new as a system even though it is built around and based off of many forms of military arts including: Koden Kan Karate-do, Shoto Kan Karate, Shito Rye Karate, Zenbeibutoku Kai Karate, Kyokushin Kai Karate, Kajukenpo Karate, Kempa Chaun Fu, Taijiquan Gung Fu, Taikwan Do, Hwaraug Do (Hwarang Do), Jujitsu (Darzon Ryu), Aikido, Pankratiou, Military Hand-To-Hand, Shor Euji Keupo.

Other martial art systems offer a black belt in 4 years and charge you 120$+ a month for a few hours a week. They make you wear Japanese costumes and memorize all sorts of names in other languages.

I am a United States Citizen. An Idahoan. A farmer. A designer. I found a true American Martial Art in Koden Kan.

I love that we wear ACU's to honor our troops. We don't bow to anyone and belts are used to hold our pants up. Our ranks are on our patches in blue, green, black with gold bars. We say Sir, Sensei and Professor. It takes around 10 years to earn a black rank (black belt) but that depends entirely on us. We fight to win - not a championship trophy but our life. (Though we've plenty of trophies. ) Our community is first in our minds.

Our Professor is Ex-special forces (38 years army). A 9th degree black belt and the creator of the Koden Kan martial art system. I love who we are. I love what we do.

From Highschool students, College Graduates, Military Personel and Law Enforcement the H2HCTC has taught many of my friends. They love it. It works. You can't beat that at any price. And I'm only paying $$ a month. I can't say enough good about this school and Professor Foley. Stop in and watch us train. It is practical and powerful.
