With over 1,000 square feet of wall to wall mats, heavy bags, and padded walls, our facility is the premier MMA training center in Western North Carolina. Our 2 inch Tatami Finish Dollamur mats are the perfect training surface for a variety of Mixed Martial Arts and Aerobic Training.

Basulto Academy of Defense specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Grappling, and Mixed Martial Arts Training (including Muay Thai, Savate, and Boxing). Royler Gracie black belt Armando Basulto is committed to training and developing skills that hone the mind, and temper the body.
Instructor Lynda Saffell of REACH Mind/Body Fitness is not your average gym yogi. With over 20 years of experience, Lynda has developed a unique intuitive style, balancing strength, mindful movement, and breath.
The GroundSwell Fitness ProShop is Western North Carolina's number one source for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA apparel and Training Equipment. We stock apparel and gear from industry standards like Manto Fight, Jaco, Hayabusa Fightgear, Fuji, and Vulkan. From traditional BJJ Gi's to Fight Shorts, Rash Guards, and Knee Pads, GroundSwell Fitness carries the fight gear you need to look, feel, and perform your best.
