Cormier's Self Defense Academy specializes in karate, jujitsu, judo, and adult self defense training that nurtures strong character and self-confidence.

We have been honored as the Best Martial Arts Studio in baystateparent Magazine's 2016 Best of baystateparent Awards. Our martial arts classes were voted Best Martial Arts Class around Boston in the Boston Parents Paper 2014 Family Favorite Awards and Top 5 Martial Arts Classes in Massachusetts in Boston Parents Paper's 2015 Family Favorite Awards.

We feature black belt martial arts programs for kids and adults in:

-judo

-jujitsu

-karate

We offer private or group classes in effective self defense fundamentals and Hatha Yoga classes by the Yoga Garden. All classes are taught by certified professional instructors with decades of experience.

Whether a beginner or experienced, an adult, teen, or child, Cormier's martial arts students learn in a comfortable, safe, supportive, and very friendly environment. We work closely with our students, providing instruction based on the needs and capabilities of each individual learner. Here, everyone here is a member of a great dojo family.

Programs & Class Schedule

Adult, Teens & Kids Karate
Teens, adults, and kids ages 4 and up receive instruction in Okinawan Goju ryu Karate-do from Master Instructor Cormier, who is a 7th degree black belt in this martial art.

Adult, Teens & Kids Jujitsu
We instruct children and adults from ages 8 and up in two internationally recognized martial arts: Hakko Denshin Ryu Jujutsu and Yoshitsune Jujitsu. Both are excellent systems of self defense and are taught separately.

Adult, Teens & Kids Judo
In our judo classes, for kids ages 8 to 12 and teens/adults, students learn all of the throws and ground techniques required for mastery of this self defense art and sport.
