Great place to train, I was a little skeptical about the learning Kung-Fu but was interested in MMA type of training. Good workout and intense training. I'm shocked to learn the varity and depth of Choy Lee Fut and what the style has to offer for everyone.

This is the place! I finally found a school that has everything I'm looking for. I wanted real world fighting like I see on TV (mma and boxing), but I also wanted the discipline and traditions that you see in the kung fu movies. I didn't know Choy Lee Fut was a mixed martial art. ..very cool!

Chan Family Choy Lee Fut in Fresno offers an excellent array of learning opportunities. If you are interested in learning traditional Shaolin kung fu, there are the Kung fu classes. If you want to learn about fighting in the ring, there is the fight training class. If you want to get in shape, the cardio class is great! If you want to learn moving meditation that is comparable to Tai Chi or yoga, try the Lohan Chi gung. All of these classes are good on thier own but they also compliment each other. Also the prices are affordable.

A Real Kung Fu School for Kids and Adults

My son has attended this school for 1.5 years. He started when he was 6 years old. Prior to this school, we were stuck in a contract with another martial arts school, paying almost $200/ month. We were unhappy with the quality of the instruction at the other school, but couldn't get out of the contract. Most of the time the classes were "taught" by other older kids and they played a lot of games like "dodgeball". I did some research and was very happy to find this school, taught by Sifu Dutch. Sifu is a certified Chan Family Choy Lee Fut instructor. He has a very structured class, and the kids aren't allowed to just run around. Sifu personally teaches every class. I know my son is learning real Kung Fu, and at $40 a month, I am a very satisfied parent! We will start going more than twice a week when my son is older, and my three year old son can't wait until he's old enough to join!
