The adult instructor, Leo Perez, is the 12th black belt issued by Relson Gracie and is very focused and a great instructor. The instructor for the kids is Eddy Aguiar and he is a purple belt. He brings out the best in the kids by keeping them focused and helping them build confidence in their abilities. He sets a positive image thru example and encourages the parents to stay and see their child grow. And the kids have a great time learning and growing. The kids can become "bully-proof" and come out of their shell.
Bone Island teaches with professionalism and patience and love for the art. It teaches the student these same qualities. It is one of the best places for a child to spend time and learn confidence and respect while at the same time learning to keep the body healthy and strong. Best thing we ever did for our granddaughter. Just watching them spar is more than enough to help understand these great qualities. Go watch them and see for yourself. Kudos to Eddy for bringing this to our children.
