This place is the very best Karate school. Mr Baldassarre works with children with disabilities, and is very experienced and professional. He commands attention from even the most rambunctious child. His mastery over the Akata steps is unmatched. He works with all age groups, and has black belts running the older classes. This is a very inexpensive way to teach discipline, confidence, patience and self control. They do not focus on fighting skills, and their method of teaching focuses the children on defending themselves making sure to teach them that Karate is not to be used to fight offensively, only to be used when needed. True power of Karate is in controlling your temper and responses and avoiding a fight when possible. He is also a retired teacher and takes an interest in his students learning and study habits, he teaches more than just Karate, he teaches respect.
