Mr. Dailey offers real world street combat techniques that are very effective. He also teaches the parameters of Texas law and how it applies in self defense. High recommend this system for anyone looking to improve their confidence and situational awareness.

I have studied with Darren Dailey, the head instructor, for (5) years in The Shen Chuan (Britts Style) system, for (18) months in Kempo- Jutsu
and about (9) months in Arnis. The way that Darren teaches Kempo-Jutsu is structured in such a way as to expose the student to knife, stick, ground fighting, locking, throwing, punching and defense techniques at every belt level. I have found this to be a great way to learn as it introduces you to a variety of disciplines early on and then builds on them as you progress.
Darren makes learning fun, interesting and challenging. I unreservedly recommend him.

American Self Defense Systems has provided me terrific and personable instructions. The instructor is extremely knowledgeable of several different self defense systems. He provides a great learning environment. I would definitely recommend ASDS to anyone who is looking for a real self defense system, I've been taking it for over 3 years now with zero complaints.
I have studied with Darren Dailey for 1 1/2 years in Kempo- Jutsu and in Modern Arnis. Darren is able to teach in a way for all levels of experience to understand. I've been a police officer for over 25 years and know that the techniques Darren teaches will help in real world self defense situations. I highly recommend the training offered at this school.
