Hands Down THE Best Budo Dojo I've Ever Been To!

I've had the good fortune of visiting the Windsong Dojo on several occasions over the years. Each and every time I walked through the doors I've been met with openness, caring, and compassion. The place has a very welcoming, homey feel that is further supported by the wonderful people that train, teach, and manage the facilities.

The gracious and friendly nature of the staff and members is outshined only by their wealth of knowledge in Budo. I've been fortunate enough to receive and/or observe world class training in Aikido, Judo, Jodo, Iaido, Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu, defensive tactics and knife defense techniques at Windsong. Each time has brought me renewed motivation and insight into these arts thru the instructors' seemingly endless amount of technical expertise. Their facilities are Outstanding as well.

The good people of the Windsong Dojo NEVER fail to impress. I STRONGLY encourage you to attend a clinic or seminar at Windsong, or if you live in the OKC area, stop in and chat with Lowry Sensei and the other wonderful folks there and let them show you what they have to offer... you'll be GLAD you did.

Windsong Dojo is a great place to study Aikido. It is a friendly and fun atmosphere where anybody can learn. It focuses on real life situatuion and its great because it doesn't matter on your body type as long as you stick to the principles. The instructors are very knowledgable in all areas of martial arts not Aikido and come from various backgrounds so you get a variety of experiances. All and all a great place to learn and develop.

I was lucky enough to be a guest of the Dojo for a summer seminar. I belong to the Dojo but practice and live in Kansas. Coming from traditional Aikido and having my concerns over this style, I had an eye-opening experience. Just to be able to experience Nick Lowry teaching style is an honor. The Dojo is well organized and maintained. People are the greatest, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would recommend the Dojo to anyone in the area. There are not too many great Senseis left in the world and to enjoy the friendship and knowledge of Nick have no parallel. I most note that, in Aikido circles; I have never found a Dojo that I dislike or Aikidoist that were not friendly. Aikido is the proverbial family unit. Were there is an Aikido Dojo, you have a home. This is one of the best trait of Aikido worldwide. The wealth of knowledge concentrated at this location is unbelievable. In not other place will you be exposed to so many life long teachers.
